These align with the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, promoting warmth,
balance, and immune support during the winter months.

RECIPE 1
Immune-Boosting Winter Vegetable Soup

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1-inch ginger, grated

  • 2 carrots, sliced

  • 2 celery stalks, c1 sweet potato, diced

  • 1 zucchini, sliced

  • 6 cups vegetable broth

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley for garnish

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Sauté until fragrant.

  • Add sliced carrots, chopped celery, sweet potato, and zucchini to the pot. Cook for a few minutes until vegetables begin to soften.

  • Pour in the vegetable broth and add turmeric and cumin powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

  • Ladle the soup into bowls, garnish with fresh parsley, and enjoy this immune-boosting winter

RECIPE 1
Ginger Tumeric Tea

INGREDIENTS

  • 1-inch ginger, thinly sliced

  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • Juice of half a lemon

  • 2 cups hot water

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Place thinly sliced ginger in a teapot or a heat proof pitcher.

  • Sprinkle ground turmeric over the ginger slices.

  • Pour hot water over the ginger and turmeric.

  • Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes.

  • Stir in honey and lemon juice.

  • Strain the tea into your favorite mug and savor the
    warming goodness.
